No-show recovery for dental groups & DSOs | TurnUp
For dental groups & DSOs

One leak is annoying.
Thirty is a
P&L problem.

Failed appointments run at 14 to 17% across UK dentistry. At group scale that is millions a year, and head office only sees which site leaks worst at month-end. TurnUp scores every appointment, standardises prevention across the estate, and rolls it up to one view.

01 · See every site

One league table ranks every practice you run.

Head office sees no-show rate and recovered revenue for each site at a glance, spots the practices above the group average, and drills into any one of them. No waiting for a month-end report to find out which site is leaking.

02 · Standardise the playbook

Your best site's routine, run the same everywhere.

Set the prediction, prevention and waitlist-fill flow once at head office, then push it to every practice. Each manager sees their own numbers against the group, so improvement is owned locally and nothing depends on one site inventing its own routine.

03 · Roll it up

Recovered revenue as one number for the board.

No-show reduction and recovered chair time aggregate across the estate into a single figure, every month. When a flagged site adopts the standard, its rate moves toward your best performers, and the group total moves with it.

The group maths

What a 30-practice group has on the table.

The per-dentist leak, multiplied by the estate you run.

Illustrative calculation, not a guarantee: £46,000 a dentist a year (£200 a slot, one missed slot a working day, 230 working days), 30 practices at roughly four chairs each. Your demo includes a tailored estimate from your own estate and no-show rate.

Before you book.

The questions group operators ask us first.

Do all our practices have to run the same PMS?
No. TurnUp is a layer on top of the practice management system each site already uses, Dentally included. It runs across a mixed estate, different systems at different sites, and still rolls up to one group view. No rip-and-replace, no migration project per practice.
How long does a group rollout take?
Site by site, and fast, because nothing is migrated. Each practice connects to the PMS it already runs and starts scoring appointments within days. You can start with a handful of sites and extend across the estate once you have seen the numbers.
Can head office see everything while each practice sees only its own?
Yes. Access is role-based: head office gets the group overview and league table, while each practice manager sees only their own patients and numbers, benchmarked against the group average.
Is it one contract for the group?
Yes. One group contract covers every connected practice, rather than a separate tool and invoice per site. Recovered revenue and no-show reduction aggregate to one figure for the board.
Is patient data safe across every site?
Data sits in UK and EU residency and is processed under a signed DPA, with a full audit trail of every automated action per practice. TurnUp reads what it needs through each PMS's own API and access can be revoked from your side at any time.
Do our front desks have to change how they work?
No. The team on the ground keeps working exactly as they do today. TurnUp handles the scoring, confirmation and waitlist fill in the background, and only surfaces the cases that genuinely need a person.
